Share Your Story is an online ministry of the NWTX Conference of the United Methodist Church. We exist to connect people online and in person to hear your story. Listen to their needs, hurts, dreams, and questions, and connect them with a local United Methodist Church in their area.

We believe that all are welcome and created uniquely by God. No matter where your story has led you so far, grace and mercy are waiting for you. We are here to listen and help connect you to a community that will help you grow in your faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • God the Father

    God, who is one, is revealed in three distinct persons.

  • Jesus Christ the Son

    We believe in the mystery of salvation through Jesus Christ. God became human in Jesus, whose life, death, and resurrection demonstrate God’s redeeming love.

  • The Holy Spirit

    The Holy Spirit is God’s present activity in our midst. When we sense God’s leading, God’s challenge, or God’s support or comfort, it is the Holy Spirit at work.

  • Human Beings

    Genesis 1:27 asserts that we’ve been made in the image of the Creator. Like God we have the capacity to love and care, to communicate, and to create.

  • The Church

    The church is the body of Christ, an extension of Christ’s life and ministry in the world today.

  • The Bible

    We believe that the Bible is the primary authority for our faith and practice.

  • God's Reign

    The kingdom or reign of God is both a present reality and future hope.

  • What is Wesleyan Grace?

    United Methodists recognize God's grace at work throughout our spiritual journeys. John Wesley wrote and preached about the role of God's grace to prepare us, redeem us, and continually shape us into the people we were created to be.
